About Q9Golf

Welcome to the new, fast, scintillating, modern world of competitive golf for amateurs, where each competition is played over either the front or back nine of a registered Q9Golf Club on designated days of the week Sunday to Friday.

Q9Golf is a brand-new innovation to capitalize on limited time, golf skills improvement, and stimulation of the competitive spirit in all amateur golfers. Best of all, each competition provides prizes and it all ends each season in recognition and rewards that comply with the amateur code.

There are two parts to Q9Golf

  1. Play your club leaderboard to make the zone and then national finals.
  2. The top 18 of the national finals win and progress to an all-expenses paid trip to the World Super Series finals played overseas as part of Team SA Q9Golf. Six wild cards are added to the team. The first Q9Golf World Super Series championship will be staged at an international destination during November 2018.

Play a minimum of 3 rounds on the front nine and 3 rounds on the back nine at your local club to determine your final position on the leaderboard for the season. Your top 6 scores (3 front 9 and 3 back 9) will count for advancement to the national finals and the world finals played at exotic destinations each year.

Unlimited Rounds - You may however play as many rounds as you choose to race up the leaderboard.

Each Competition brings you one step closer to a national final where you will compete for a place in the World Super Series Q9Golf Championship played annually at international destinations. The Top 4 golfers in each division, 24 golfers nationally, will be transported and hosted at the World Super Series Championship as part of Team SA Q9Golf.
